Gantix — Privacy Policy

Gantix is a project and task planner for iPhone and iPad. It is local-first: your projects, tasks, and schedules live on your device, and the app works fully without an account. This policy explains the limited data we handle if you choose to use the optional cloud features.

What we collect, and only if you opt in

• Nothing, by default. If you never sign in, Gantix keeps all of your data on your device and sends us nothing.
• Cloud sync (optional, part of Pro). If you sign in to sync across your devices, we store your account email address (or, with Sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple provides) and the content of your projects and tasks so we can sync and back them up. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text.
• Push reminders (optional, free once signed in). If you turn this on, we store a device push token tied to your account, used only to route your due-date reminders to that device through Apple’s Push Notification service — nothing else is sent with it.
• “Describe with AI” (optional). If you use the AI intake feature, the description you type is sent to our server and then to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a plan. We don’t use your content to train any model.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell or rent your data.
• We do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We include no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

How your data is protected

Traffic between the app and our server is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Your synced data is isolated per account, and reachable only with your own sign-in.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the features you use: our hosting provider (the server that stores your synced data), Apple (to deliver push reminders through their Push Notification service, and to handle Sign in with Apple), and, only when you use “Describe with AI,” Anthropic (to generate the plan). We share your data with no one else.

Deleting your account and data

You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app: Settings → Account & Sync → Delete account. This immediately and permanently removes your account and everything synced to it from our server. The copy on your device is unaffected — deleting the cloud account does not touch your on-device projects.

Retention

We keep your synced data only while your account exists. When you delete your account, the data is deleted.

Children

Gantix is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
